Product Introduction
1. General Introduction
GoldSorb 6000 is a coconut shell activated carbon mainly used for gold recovery with different Particle Sizes, including 6x12 mesh (1.70 - 3.35mm), 6x16 mesh (1.18 - 3.35mm), 8x16 mesh (1.18 - 2.36 mm) and 12x30 mesh (0.60 - 1.70 mm). It is a very high activity granular activated carbon manufactured by steam activation from carefully selected coconut shell charcoal and ideally suited for the recovery of precious metals in all forms of contactors providing good adsorption and elution characteristics. GoldSorb 6000 exhibits a highly developed pore structure to give maximum adsorption while maintaining high product hardness. This results in a high resistance to attrition contributing to lower gold losses in the circuit and during regeneration. As a result, make-up requirements are minimized thus reducing the cost of operation.
