1.  General Introduction

AT-10 is a is a polybasic hindered phenolic antioxidant with good compatibility with most polymers, manufactured by Albemarle Corporation Shanghai Plant, mainly for the market in Asia market.

AT-10 with formula C73H108O12, appearance is white powder, odorless and tasteless. Melting point 110°C-125°C, stable in nature. Soluble in solvents such as benzene, acetone and ester, insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol. This product is non-polluting, has good heat resistance and water resistance, and good compatibility. Combined use with antioxidant AT-168, DLTDP, etc. can exert a synergistic effect and improve the antioxidant effect. It has a good effect of preventing discoloration caused by light and heat. Widely used in PE, PP, PS, polyamide, polyoxymethylene, ABS resin, PVC, synthetic rubber and other polymer materials. Also used to prevent thermo-oxidative aging of greases and coatings.

AT-10 has low volatility, good process ability, and can provide long-term effective antioxidant protection. It can be used to stabilize polyolefin and its other plastics, elastomers, adhesives, resins, oils, and other Oxidized organic material. AT-10 has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved for applications where indirect contact with food occurs. In addition, AT-10 can be combined with phosphite, thioether, acid neutralizer, UV Stabilizers and other functional additives
